Meet Dianne Goldenberg, Go Red Chair
CEO, Northwest Medical Center

Spending more than 30 years in healthcare, Northwest Medical Center Chief Executive Officer, Dianne Goldenberg, has a passion that spreads widely beyond her 215-bed community hospital and health center and largely into the surrounding community. The American Heart Association is pleased to name Goldenberg, of Lake Worth, Chairman of the 6th Annual Go Red For Women Celebration and Love Your Heart Workshops.

The event will take place on Friday, September 23 at the Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, Fort Lauderdale and will feature Go Red For Women national spokesperson, Gloria Boisvert. It aims to educate and empower its hundreds of guests with lifesaving knowledge to fight back against heart disease and stroke, the No. 1 and No. 3 leading killers, respectively, of American men and women, while simultaneously raising funds for lifesaving research.

“I am honored to chair such a fantastic community event and continue to support an extraordinary organization this year as we break ground on our Heart and Vascular Institute at Northwest Medical Center,” said Goldenberg. “The American Heart Association is a vital organization that is helping to preserve the health of men and women everywhere and I am thrilled to help spotlight the importance of heart health.”

A highly experienced healthcare executive, Goldenberg has held various positions of increasing responsibility in clinical and leadership positions. Dianne was the Chief Nursing Officer at JFK Medical Center, one of HCA’s flagship hospitals in Atlantis, Florida from 1998 to 2002. She was Chief Operating Officer at Boca Raton Community Hospital from 2002 to 2005. Before joining the Administrative team at Northwest Medical Center, she was the CEO at North Ridge Medical Center.

Ms. Goldenberg holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Nova Southeastern University, as well as a Master of Science Degree in Nursing from Barry University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Texas Women’s University in Texas.

Ninety percent of women have one or more risk factors for developing heart disease, which kills approximately one woman every minute. More women die of heart disease than the next four causes of death combined, including all forms of cancer. The interactive boutiques and “Love Your Heart” workshops at the Go Red For Women Celebration will serve as an interactive resource.
